Grades PreK3-8th

Here at MCPA we support families looking for a different learning environment for their child. We are here to teach your student new material, help you navigate subjects, offer a classroom space full of friends, and to be a team mate in the hybrid homeschool planning & support. Our teacher staff will spend the day doing project based learning and offering hands on activities that help promote learning in core subject areas (math, ELA, science, history, & writing) as well as facilitate fun engaging activities such as art, stem, science, music, and physical movement.
Full Time & Hybrid Model
MCP Academy’s Hybrid Program offers flexible scheduling options for students attending 2 or 3 days per week while receiving high-quality academics in a personalized classroom environment. Students are provided with thoughtfully prepared take-home and digital assignments for their at-home learning days as part of the MCPA hybrid model.
On homeschool days, parents guide and support their child’s learning using lessons and materials planned by the MCPA teaching staff, allowing families to enjoy meaningful, quality time together while maintaining strong academic support and continuity. Our hybrid model is designed to provide the perfect balance of personalized education, family involvement, and structured teacher guidance.
For families choosing a full 5-day program, all instruction, lesson planning, and academic preparation are fully facilitated by the MCPA teaching staff, allowing families to focus on enjoying quality time together outside of school hours. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support strong academics, meaningful family connection, and individualized learning — all while preserving the wholeness, joy, and wonder of childhood.
Curriculum
Each group works on project based learning activities as a learning pods. Grades PK3-PK5, Kinder-4th, 5th-8th, and coming soon our high school pod for grades 9th-12th Covering all core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, Social Emotional Learning, and History/Social Studies) and Project-based learning (PBL). Project-based instruction/thematic learning is an instructional approach designed to give students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills through engaging projects/themes set around challenges and problems they may face in the real world.
PBL/THEMATIC LEARNING
What are the benefits of project based learning & enrichment?
Project based learning/Thematic learning blends content mastery, meaningful work, and personal connection to create powerful learning experiences, in terms of both academic achievement and students' personal growth. PBL can be transformative for students, especially those furthest from educational opportunity.
Enrichment activities help to get students interested in what they are learning which in turn creates engagement. Motivation is also crucial to student success. Most students are more likely to be motivated to participate in classroom lessons, activities, and discussions when they feel challenged.
Classrooms
Each classroom is set up in a Modern Montessori way that is a calm home like & comfortable space. All MCPA Classrooms follow an open floor plan to create a learning environment that encourages discovery and aids in developing the faculty of choice. There are areas for group activity and areas for independent learning—no stifling rows of school desks. But instead a classroom community.
